CURRANT JAM accepts submissions on a rolling basis. Submitted works will be considered for our weekly digital articles or quarterly print mags. 

To submit/pitch, please fill out the form below. Please bear in mind that we are a small team, so we are not always able to respond to every pitch due to high volume. We will get back to you via email should your submission be a good fit.

Currant Jam publishes flash reviews in our Slice Reviews section. These reviews are between 300 and 700 words and cover new, exciting and timely works being created within the global independent arts scene.

Reviews offer readers insight into works they might not have known about otherwise. Slice Reviews are not meant to tear down, but to encourage engaging conversation.

Review pitches include:

• A description of the work they intend to review.

• The anticipated angle of the review–what themes they are looking to explore in the writing.

• Links to at least one recent writing sample.

• Examples of recent work by the reviewee (links to videos, photographs, or whatever best show the work that the review will highlight).

• Relevant social media handles.

• Your name, pronouns & the city where you live.
