CURRANT JAM accepts submissions on a rolling basis. Submitted works will be considered for our weekly digital articles or quarterly print mags. 

To submit/pitch, please fill out the form below. Please bear in mind that we are a small team, so we are not always able to respond to every pitch due to high volume. We will get back to you via email should your submission be a good fit.

• Submit finished work. Unfinished work will not be accepted.

• Include your name, pronouns & the city where you live.

• The title and medium of your work (and dimensions if possible).

• An artist statement outlining your intent and inspiration for your work–at least 250 words.

• An artist bio with background information about who you are, where you grew up, if you went to school or not (we don’t judge) and how you got involved with your art practice–at least 100 words.

• Relevant social media handles.

• Make sure you are sending in high-resolution images of your work. Please send them as .tiff or .jpeg files at least at 11.7” x 8.27” at 300 dpi (pixels per inch). If your files do not meet these requirements, it will disqualify you from the selection process. (NOTE: You can easily change the photo size in photo editing apps or Photoshop, but if you take images of your art with a high-quality camera–not a cellphone–you should be off to a good start).
